These Ugandan children are the heart of the PromisePeople film. Through dance, they tell the story of rebirth and promise. Your support changes their futures.

Simon

Simon finished his primary leaving exams and prays that he excels, and he also prays that he would be a good and positively influential dancer in future.

Abbey

Abbey prays that they all as a dance group one day get a chance to move out of their community and explore other areas.

Edith

Edith prays for wisdom and healing to her grandmother who's leg is sick, she also prays for provision for her to complete her studies and for God to provide for their dance instructor Ken.

Ketra

Ketra prays for God to protect her mom who went to a foreign country for work in 2019 and since that time she hasn't come back to Uganda, she misses her so much.

Joshua

Joshua prays for God to help the whole dance group to one day have a chance to travel outside Uganda. He prays for God to help him excel in his primary leaving exams, results will be out by February 2026.

Favor

Favor prays for God to help her perform well next year as she's going to join primary six, she's scared that it might be a very hard class.

Britney

Britney prays for God to help her not to ever fall sick again because the last time she fell sick she was given injections which was very painful.

Sandra

Sandra has a heart problem that makes it hard for her to breathe sometimes, she needs prayers for healing.

Mary

Mary prays that the group gets a conducive dance space for training and rehearsals and also prays that all kids in the group get sponsorship so that some kids stop staying home since parents at times take a while to clear the tuition on time.

Jordan

Jordan's prayer request is for God to grant him knowledge to perform very well in class next year, he wasn't able to perform as he hoped to.

Griffin

Griffin was born with sickle cells and prays for healing, he has to take medication everyday and sometimes fails to get the medication because it's quite costly for his guardians. He also prays for God to bless his entire family.
